Meet Emma

My name is Emma of Innertide Yoga. I am here to guide you to the inner wisdom of your body via yoga, meditation and biodynamic craniosacral therapy. I believe in a natural fluidity to life and an abundance of health is available to all of us. Sometimes we simply need a little reminder. I am passionate about educating my clients to find this natural state.

I am a Hatha, Yin, Meditation, Aerial Yoga Teacher and a practitioner of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.  My love for health and wellbeing has evolved from a large range of bodywork including Remedial Massage, Qigong and Aromatherapy.

I am drawn to the way we as humans move through life and adapt and grow. Not only physically, but energetically. To me, yoga is life.

For over 25 years, I have been practicing and teaching yoga. My journey began in Adelaide whilst practicing as a Remedial Therapist, yoga became my saviour in supporting my own body. I then quickly decided that I wanted to share the art of yoga with others. There was a fire in me to help my clients help themselves. I soon embarked on my first Hatha Yoga Teacher Training with Albert Hennick.

This ongoing desire to learn led to my studies with Donna Farhi, Shandor Remete,  Sophie LeFevre, Sian Pascale and Simon Borg-Olivier, as well as inspiration from the teachings of Judith Lasater.

Fast forward to living in Melbourne, I was introduced to biodynamic craniosacral therapy and fell in love with the incredible healing benefits from gentle touch to reduce pain and to support the regulation of the nervous system. This was such a welcomed relief to my physical body as a body worker leading me to complete my 2 year diploma with Body Intelligence in 2016. https://www.bodyintelligence.com

Most recently (2022), I completed another 200 hr YTT with Santosha Yoga Institute to update my skills. I am forever grateful for all of the teachers in my life, past and present. I am always evolving and growing in every moment.

It is my true purpose to share the incredible grounding force of yoga and the intuitive, healing touch of cranio-sacral therapy. It brings me such joy and peace, knowing that I am facilitating positive change.
